The Clinic of Applied Psychology was created in 1987 in Moncton, N.B., when its co-founders, including Mr. James Robinson, decided they wanted to meet the growing demand for services from the general population and through a few Employee Assistance Programs.
Ms Pierrette Richard joined the team in 1993, and has co-managed the Clinic of Applied Psychology with Mr. James Robinson since that time.
Over the years, three other psychologists from the clinic became co-managers of the Clinic of Applied Psychology, including Christine Arsenault, Manon Melanson and Christine Belliveau.
Gradually, the configuration of the Clinic of Applied Psychology has changed. The current staff offers a rather extensive range of psychological services and remains concerned, as always, with adequately meeting the demand for psychological services in the community.
The Clinic of Applied Psychology offers its services mainly in the immediate area of Greater Moncton but they are increasingly accessed by clients across New Brunswick. Our psychologists offer a variety of clinical and organizational services. We also feel strongly about having a preventive practice and offering a range of educational interventions.
