Christine Belliveau obtained her Masters degree in Psychology from the Université de Moncton in 1999.  She obtained her license as a full registered psychologist in 2004 (Nova Scotia) and became a member of the New Brunswick College of Psychologists in 2008.

Christine initially began her career as a clinical psychologist in Nova Scotia where she worked from 1999 to 2008.  She came back home to New Brunswick in 2008 to join the team of psychologists at the Clinic of Applied Psychology and is presently co-owner of this clinic since 2012. She offers clinical services to an adult population presenting with a wide range of different mental health issues. Having a keen interest in the treatment and recovery of individuals suffering with trauma related disorders, she has pursued specialized training in both cognitive behavioral therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization Therapy (EMDR), however her theoretical orientation is primarily inspired by EMDR. In addition to completing EMDRIA approved training in EMDR therapy, Christine has met the requirements of the EMDR International Association to be recognized as a certified therapist.

Christine works within a collaborative, strengths based therapeutic relationship with her clients.  As well as offering clinical services, Christine has also offered workshops to various organizations on stress management, depression and relaxation. Her clinical interest and experience has also led to offering her clinical services to members of the Canadian Forces, Royal Canadian Mounted Police and
Veterans.

A true believer in human resilience and inspired every day by her work, she is available to offer clinical assessments, psychological evaluations and treatment for an adult population.
