Dr. Caissie Bourque completed her doctorate in psychology (Psy, D.) from the University of Moncton in December 2021. She is a resident in psychology under the clinical supervision of Manon Melanson (L. Psych)

She has worked in different settings including, private practice, Cumberland Mental Health Services and the District scolaire francophone Sud (Child-Youth Teams). Furthermore, she is a lecturer at the University of Moncton in the Psychology department since 2019.

Caissie joined the Clinic of Applied Psychology on a part-time basis in September 2022. She offers therapeutic services and assessment services to school-aged children, adolescents and young adults. She has a particular interest in the treatment of anxiety disorders, mood disorders and psycho-educational assessments to diagnose learning disability, attention deficit disorder with or without hyperactivity, behavioural problems and giftedness. She uses evidence-based approaches, particularly cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). She offers services in French and English.
